Overview of Business Operations
Vast experience and knowledge enable user-friendly communication and relationships between people and media
Since its founding, Alps Electric has supplied around 40,000 types of electronic component to over 2,000 manufacturers of home
appliances, mobile devices, automobiles and industrial equipment worldwide, allowing us to identify market and technological trends.
We deliver optimal products by responding quickly and appropriately to customer and market requirements. A current focus as we
look to support the creation of a low-carbon, digital society is the development of power-efcient “green” devices.

Compact, high-quality devices through to high-performance, functional modules and systems
|
A car navigation control module,
customized for vehicle use. Features
like number pad illumination enable
simple and pleasantly tactile operation
of today’s increasingly sophisticated
multi-functional automotive systems.
|
|
Integrates hazard/door lock, audio/air
conditioning control and other switches.
Many years of know-how from developing
control devices for consumer appliances,
and a special coating, are applied to create
classy, convenient control panels.
|
|
A lens-driving mechanical component
for focusing of autofocus cameras on
mobile phones. Compatible with today’s
compact, high-resolution camera
phones. Even drives large-diameter
lenses despite the compact size. Strong
driving force and high reliability.
|
|
A double-action Sidepush™.
Applications include shutter switches
for digital cameras and camera phones.
This mid-mount switch has a height of
only 1.1mm from the PCB, supporting
thinner devices.
|
A capacitive sensor created with MEMS
technology capable of sensing 0–100%
humidity. Low-power, compact (world’s
smallest*) and not temperature-dependent.
Ideal for smartphones and
healthcare appliances.

|
An all-in-one wireless LAN module
incorporating antenna, Wi-Fi protocol
and connection application. Facilitates
establishment of wireless network
systems.
|
|
A sensor that measures currents,
required for applications such as smart
meters and rechargeable battery
charge/discharge control. Detects small
to large currents by converting magnetic
field strength into electric signals.
|
|
Passive parts used in semiconductor
power supply circuits and DC/DC
converter power circuits. A proprietary
magnetic core material enables reduced
size, low heat generation and low core
loss, contributing to power supply
efficiency.
